Mark is a multi-hyphenate creative force—an accomplished voice actor, bestselling author, composer, and television writer whose decades-long career spans entertainment, media, and technology.
An honors graduate of Berklee College of Music, Mark began his journey composing and producing music for television, including CBS’s 1994 Winter Olympics, Sunshine Cuisine, and Death By Chocolate, as well as orchestral scores for video games, Project Overkill, and Mission Critical. After moving to Los Angeles, his sharp business acumen led him to run day-to-day operations and legal affairs for successful composer Ben Vaughn, producing original music for hit TV shows such as 3rd Rock from the Sun, That ‘70s Show, and Normal, Ohio.
As a writer, Mark has penned multiple Amazon bestselling nonfiction books, including Where’s My Fcking Latte?* Fatal Sunset: Deadly Vacations, and The Hunt for Bin Laden—the former earning him an interview on Access Hollywood and as a regular face on E!’s limited-series Secret Societies of Hollywood. His TV writing talent found him work on Pamela Anderson’s hit syndicated show, “VIP” and his penchant for storytelling also secured him a spot in the prestigious Warner Bros. Drama Writer’s Fellowship and a WGA membership.
Mark’s voiceover career took off unexpectedly with Pacific Coast Hallway (PCH), a podcast he recorded during his daily commute. The show became a breakout hit, leading to syndication on Sirius Satellite Radio’s Sirius Stars channel and a feature in Playboy Magazine. Building on this success, he created Things I Learned This Week, a video series that landed him hosting gigs, including a pilot about mobile apps produced by the team behind Judge Judy and a co-hosting role on Radio GoDaddy with Bob Parsons.
With over 7,000 commercials to his name, Mark’s voice has been heard all over the world. The global brands he has voiced for include Marvel, Disneyland, Samsung, Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Allstate, GE, McDonald’s, and Mercedes-Benz, among countless others. Gamers may also recognize him as the voice of Crayola Create and Play and as Katsuro in the wildly popular mobile game Fruit Ninja. He is also the creator and host of The Microphone Assassin channel on YouTube, featuring hundreds of videos and demos of microphones and other voice-over gear.
